High & Sporting Partridges in Beautiful Hilly Countryside in The Scottish Borders

Both the pheasant and partridge shooting at Langholm have been developed and improved over the past 35 years by Julian Cotterell and his very able team of four gamekeepers lead by the headkeeper and manager Andrew Denton.

Some of the most exciting and challenging partridge shooting anywhere has been added. It takes place in 3 beautiful and remote steepsided valleys providing high and sporting birds. Single gun days for 8 guns usually achieve about 300 birds a day and larger bags with double guns can be accommodated.

Wonderful Pheasant shooting is also available at Langholm showing a wide variety of sporting and testing birds driven off hillsides and often over rivers and burns
